About the Program
Join us for fun, interactive activities this summer with David Douglas School District’s free in-person Summer Learning Program! The Summer Learning Program provides participants entering grades 6-8 with the opportunity to apply classroom learning in an informal, problem-solving context. Students will engage in hands-on, project-based learning and outdoor recreation.
Projects include designing a moving sculpture, creating a prototype of a shoe, and building programmable robots. This 16-day session will help students prepare for the next school year and provides continued academic learning through the summer.
Breakfast, lunch, and bus transportation are included.
